English Language Instructor
Job description
● Participate in the development and/or improvement of educational programs, syllabi, lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools;
● Plan, prepare, and conduct teaching activities in accordance with the relevant educational programs;
● Use modern teaching methodologies and technologies to achieve desired learning outcomes;
● Assess students' progress and development, provide constructive feedback, and adapt methods to meet individual learning needs;
● Take part in professional development opportunities to stay updated with best practices in the field;
● Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and supports their academic and language development;
● Support the organization of other activities carried out by the center.
Requirements
● A master’s degree in a relevant field;
● At least 2 years of teaching experience in English language instruction (experience in higher education is an advantage); This requirement may be waived for candidates with CELTA Pass A/Pass B or DELTA.
● Minimum C1 level English proficiency (having international certificates such as IELTS or TOEFL is an advantage);
● Preference will be given to candidates with certificates in English teaching (CELTA, DELTA, TEFL, TESOL, etc.);
● Experience in developing and organizing resources for language programs;
● Ability to use innovative and interactive methods and technologies in teaching;
● Proficiency in student-centered and competency-based teaching approaches;
● Strong communication and organizational skills;
● Research skills;
● Interest in ongoing professional development.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position. Teachers are expected to engage in lesson preparation and other assigned activities outside of classroom hours.
Note 1: Employees working on a permanent basis at the university will be provided with accommodation in the city of Khankendi from the beginning of the academic year for the duration of their employment.
