Geoscience Technician (intern)

Working Conditions:

Location: Babek Plaza

Work schedule: 5 days a week

Working hours: 10:00–16:00

Salary: 400 AZN (gross)

Hard Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Geology, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field

Final-year students, master’s students, and recent graduates are preferred

Basic knowledge of geoscience data and oil & gas processes

Languages: Azerbaijani (fluent), Russian (C1), English (B2)

Soft Skills:

Fast learning ability (especially in software/tools)

Strong communication skills

Ability to work in a team

Supportive, solution-oriented, and responsible approach

Responsibilities:

Perform daily technical support operations under the supervision of senior team members

Handle initial client requests related to software installation, license activation, and basic user issues, and escalate when necessary

Assist in preparing project documentation, test reports, release notes, and internal guidelines

Execute software testing (QA/QC) processes using defined scenarios and document results

Support the organization of client events, demo sessions, and technical workshops

Complete research, data validation, and analysis tasks within defined timelines
